San Felipe 250 race course map. The spectacular 254-mile race course runs in a counter-clockwise direction and starts and finishes at the landmark San Felipe arches. The race course goes north of Highway 3 for one of the first times ever in this race, covering over 100 miles up to the south end of Laguna Salada and back.

The course-map for the 2012 Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 got released. “We think that the races will really enjoy this opportunity to challenge some different areas of the Baja peninsula,” said Sal Fish, SCORE CEO/President since soon after SCORE was founded in 1973. “We have been able to put together some new territory to add to the majestic terrain of our SCORE Baja race course for San Felipe.” Pre-running will be allowed on the actual race course from Saturday, Feb. 25. 2012 through Friday, March 9. 2012.
SCORE International is a desert off-road racing sanctioning body in North America and known for one of the most renowned races in the world, the legendary Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, which is the backdrop of many cult movies, including Dust To Glory. Racing in the United States and Mexico, SCORE International was founded by the iconic Mickey Thompson in 1973 and continues today under the direction of Sal Fish, racing the Laughlin Desert Challenge, San Felipe 250, Baja 500, Primm 300 and the season finale Baja 1000. The SCORE Off-Road Races are combined in the Desert Series Championship.
